We’ve been contacted by artisans around the country wishing to explore the creative opportunities offered by hemp. So we’ve created the Artisan Sample Kit which includes enough hemp fibre & lime binder to make a small Hempcrete sculpture, pot or any other form you’d like to create. The kit comes with instructions (lime in its natural form requires a little careful handling) & costs $49.95 including postage to anywhere in Australia.

For a great day out why not head to Bendigo on the Labour Day long weekend in March for the amazing Lost Trades Fair. Celebrating what were once common-place activities, traditional artisans and tradespeople will be demonstrating skills both rare and fascinating...including the use of hemp and lime in building construction.

We're passionate animal lovers & we love our natural environment so for every February & March workshop booking we'll be donating $50 to Wildlife Victoria, a registered organisation distributing aid to wildlife shelters and carers to help rebuild rehabilitation enclosures and replace equipment lost in the fires.

On Friday 21 & Saturday 22 February & Friday 20 & Saturday 21 March we’ll be holding Summer/Autumn workshops. Join us for 1 or 2 days of hands-on education and inspiration.
You’ll also have the opportunity to visit a unique hempcrete cottage where you will see first-hand the beauty of natural lime renders.

Our upcoming November Hempcrete Building Workshop is fully subscribed. Due to the fantastic response we’re hoping to hold a further workshop in early December.

We've bumped our October Hempcrete Building Workshop after having the amazing opportunity to host a Master Renderer at our new workshop scheduled for November 8 & 9. Our sincere apologies to anyone who was interested in joining us in October. We believe this demonstration of internal/external renders and plaster finishes will be of great benefit to designers and owner builders alike and is sure to be the highlight of the weekend.

We're excited to announce our new Introduction To Hempcrete Building Workshop, a fun and informative training experience specifically designed for the owner-builder and tradesperson, as well as anyone with an interest in hempcrete construction or natural building materials.
This new 1 day workshop format will provide those not requiring formal certification with an understanding of some of the key theoretical and practical issues to consider when building with hempcrete, including design and planning considerations, structural requirements, exterior and interior detailing and rendering/cladding options.
This workshop offers an enjoyable hands-on experience with a distinct focus on the relationship between the practical application of hemp and lime and the building structure.
